In the Hamptons, Justin Timberlake was taken into custody for DWI.

According to a law enforcement source who spoke to ABC News, singer Justin Timberlake was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated in the Hamptons.

In Sag Harbor, New York, on Monday night, someone was arrested. Tuesday is the music star’s court date. In support of his sixth studio album, “Everything I Thought It Was,” Timberlake, 43, is embarking on his “The Forget Tomorrow World Tour,” which includes two performances in Chicago this weekend and two in New York City the following week.

A spokesperson for Timberlake has been contacted by ABC News for comment. Before going solo in 2002, Timberlake originally saw enormous success as a member of the boy band *NYSNC in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Selling millions of copies, “Justified,” his debut album, had the huge songs “Cry Me A River” and “Rock Your Body.”

In addition to hosting the MTV Video Music Awards and Billboard Music Awards, he has won four Emmys and ten Grammys. Timberlake’s hit song “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” from the movie “Trolls” even earned him nominations for an Oscar and a Golden Globe.

To considerable anticipation, Timberlake rejoined his *NYSNC colleagues for the “Trolls Band Together” soundtrack theme last year. In March, he performed with *NYSNC once more.

Additionally, he has starred in a number of high-grossing box office films, including “Friends With Benefits,” “The Social Network,” and “Bad Teacher.”

This narrative is still evolving. Kindly return for updates.
