Most of Germany’s international matches: Thomas Müller and Lukas Podolski draw even

Thomas Müller has already overtaken Lukas Podolski on the all-time German international list with his 130th appearance.

Müller replaced Jamal Musiala in the 74th minute of the opening European Championship triumph against Scotland in Munich (5:1). Müller is now in third position.

This was Manuel Neuer’s 120th international appearance in goal for the German team. He is just one game behind Rio World Champion and fifth-place finisher Bastian Schweinsteiger. It was Neuer’s 35th World and European Championship appearance. This puts him ahead of Philipp Lahm (34), the only other German record holder.

Champions League winner Toni Kroos, who is currently ranked seventh on the record, has closed the distance to Philipp Lahm (113) with his 110th appearance.

Joshua Kimmich, who is currently alone in 24th place, has overtaken Andreas Brehme and Oliver Kahn with his 87th international appearance. With 150 games, Lothar Matthäus remains unbeaten at the top of the chart, ahead of Miroslav Klose (137), Lukas Podolski, and Thomas Müller (both 130).
